LAHORE (Kashmir English): The Punjab government has started online applications for Batch 2 of the second phase of the Chief Minister’s Climate Leadership Development Internship Program, under which selected youth will be given a monthly stipend of Rs. 60,000 for three months.
The program, launched under the auspices of the Department of Environmental Protection and Climate Change, Punjab, aims to provide practical training to youth to address environmental challenges so that they can play an effective role in environmental governance, awareness, and policy-making as climate warriors.
To ensure the participation of women in the program, 50% of the seats have been reserved for female students.
Selected candidates will be provided with district-wise field learning, access to the Learning Management System, visits to EPA field offices, capstone projects, UNFCCC-related certification, and the opportunity to work under the supervision of experts.
The age of the candidate applying for the internship should be between 20 and 27 years as on the last date of submission of the application; at least a bachelor’s degree is required as an educational qualification, while the candidate must have at least 75 percent marks or 3.0/4.0 CGPA.
This program is open to graduates of Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Business, Computer Science, GIS, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Economics, Media Studies, Journalism and Law.
Aspiring and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official portal of EPA Punjab. For the application, candidates will have to create their account on the portal and upload educational certificates, identity card, and domicile.
The last date for submission of online applications has been fixed as July 18, 2026; applications received after the due date will not be considered.
