ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced a new date for the MCQ-based Preliminary Test (MPT) for the CSS Exam 2027.
The MPT will now be held on the revised date of Saturday, 10th October 2026 instead of the previously announced date of September 27, 2026.
As per the notice released on August 19, 2026 by the commission, the test was earlier scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, September 27, 2026.
The decision regarding the new schedule was taken by the FPSC in response to the people’s protest announcement planned for September 27.
However, the FPSC also informed that only the date for the MPT has been changed, while all the rules, requirements, and conditions for the MPT remain the same for applicants preparing for the CSS 2027 Examination.
All candidates are advised to revise their preparation plans according to the new test date.
