PESHAWAR (Kashmir English): Following the inflammatory rhetoric and threats to destroy Islamabad issued by Junaid Akbar, the PTI President for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the party has initiated violent attacks.
Shakeel Khan, a PTI Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) from Malakand opened fire on Levies personnel, leaving two of them injured.
Footage showing the guards of MPA Shakeel Khan firing at the Levies personnel has also surfaced.
High-level authorities have taken serious notice of the Malakand shooting incident, and an FIR has been registered against Shakeel Khan and his employees.
Levies officials have stated that there is no room for leniency regarding the attack on their personnel, and strict action is being taken against those responsible under a zero-tolerance policy.
It is worth noting that PTI leader Junaid Akbar had previously delivered an inflammatory speech regarding the September 27 protest, threatening to turn Islamabad into “Somnath” and destroy the city.
