KABUL (Kashmir English): Pakistan has launched intelligence-based precision air strikes against terrorist hideouts of the Kharji Hafiz Gul Bahadur Group and FAK inside Afghanistan along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
According to the information released by the officials so far, 28 terrorists were killed while several others were injured in the strikes.
Pakistan said the operation targeted terrorist hideouts linked to cross-border terrorism and warned that attacks originating from Afghanistan would be met with a strong response.
The statement further said Pakistan would continue carrying out strikes unless Afghanistan takes concrete measures to prevent and eliminate cross-border terrorism.
Officials Reject Statement of Deputy Spokesperson of Afghans
Pakistan has rejected the statement of the Deputy Spokesperson of Afghanistan, Hamdullah Fitrat, stating that Pakistan has carried out only precision strikes on terrorist camps of the Kharij Hafiz Gul Bahadur Group.
In a post on X, the Deputy Spokesperson of Afghanistan claimed that the Pakistani occupying military regime bombarded civilian homes and public property in Nurgal District of Kunar Province and Barmal District of Paktika Province.
