Security forces intensify crackdown after Ziarat attack

Earlier, Pakistan’s security forces intensified counterterrorism operations following the recent incidents in Ziarat and along the N-25 highway.

According to the details, the security forces have eliminated 38 militants affiliated with the groups of Fitna Al Hindustan and Fitna Al Khawarij during ongoing operations.

According to security sources, the crackdown remains underway, with forces continuing search and clearance operations aimed at locating and dismantling militant networks involved in recent attacks.’

Sources said security agencies are also preparing broader counterterrorism measures targeting militant infrastructure in Balochistan, while action against alleged handlers and facilitators based across the border in Afghanistan is also being considered.

Officials maintain that operations will continue until those responsible for the recent attacks are brought to justice. However, the reported figures and operational claims have not been independently verified.

The intensified operations come in the wake of the deadly Ziarat and N-25 incidents, as authorities pledge to strengthen security and prevent further militant attacks.
