QUETTA (Kashmir English): Claims circulating on social media alleging that 45 Pakistani security personnel were killed in an attack on a Frontier Corps (FC) convoy in Mastung, Balochistan, are false and misleading.
According to a social media post, the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) claims that they have killed 45 Pakistani personnel, but in reality no such incident has occurred.
No official reports confirm an ambush on a military convoy, the burning of a troop bus, or the deaths claimed in viral posts. Independent fact-checks have also found the claims to be fabricated.
The viral posts, attributed to the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), falsely claim that a multi-vehicle convoy traveling to Quetta was attacked from three sides and that dozens of security personnel were killed. However, these claims remain unsubstantiated and have not been verified by any credible official source.
