QUETTA (Kashmir English): Militants damaged a bridge on the N-40 highway near Panjpai, ahead of Mastung, disrupting an important road link.
The Frontier Corps (FC) immediately launched repair work and restored the damaged bridge using its manpower and plant equipment.
The emergency repair work helped restore traffic movement on the N-40 and minimise disruption for commuters using the route.
Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3: Eleven FAH militants eliminated in Balochistan
Earlier, eleven terrorists were killed in various operations conducted by security forces in Balochistan, according to security sources.
Forces carried out operations against terrorists in Balochistan under ‘Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-3’, resulting in the deaths of 11 terrorists belonging to ‘Fitna-al-Hindustan’ in the Panjgur and Chagai districts.
Security sources stated that five terrorists were killed during a security force operation in the Gwargo area of Panjgur, while six others were killed during operations in Aminabad and Siyah Chang.
The sources added that forces conducted effective operations against terrorists in the Aminabad and Siyah Chang areas of Chagai, where a large quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the possession of the killed terrorists.
