ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has postponed the Medical and Dental College Admission (MDCAT) test 2026 nationwide.
According to the details, the MDCAT 2026 examination will now be held on September 20 instead of August 16, 2026. The decision has been taken on the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Earlier, the SIBA Testing Services (STS) had announced important instructions for MDCAT candidates, stating that they will not accept any requests to change examination centres after registration.
Following up on the registration of Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) applicants by MDCAT, SIBA Testing Services (STS) has released the official instructions for those opting for a Doctor of Medicine in Bachelor of Dentistry admission test.
According to instructions released by the MDCAT, ‘STSB is not responsible for entertaining any requests to change the examination centers after the candidate’s final submission of his or her application.
STS has finalized the candidate’s chosen exam city during registration; hence, candidates are not eligible to request changes to their desired exam city/examination center for MDCAT under any circumstances.
The test centers allotted to each candidate will be communicated to them on the admit slips. Candidates will be able to come and complete the examination at the allotted center’s venue only,” STS said.
The advisory warned the testees to make all the necessary travel plans or arrangements in compliance with the test centers mentioned on the official admission cards or slips.
