ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled its new OTT platform “PCB LIVE”, announcing that the forthcoming Pakistan vs Australia ODI series will be available for free live-streaming on the platform.

The three-match ODI series will be played in Rawalpindi and Lahore from May 30 to June 4.

The first match will be played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on May 30, while the second and third matches will be held in Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on June 2 and 4.

“PCB Live will be the only platform where fans across the country can watch the live-streaming of the series,” the PCB said.

The cricket board, in its statement, said that fans can witness action for free on their mobile phones by downloading the application, “PCB Live”, from the App Store and the Google Play Store.

According to the PCB, national, domestic, and women’s cricket matches will also be available on this platform, while it will also be available through a streaming website.

PCB OTT, which was launched in October last year ahead of the two-match home Test series against South Africa, was previously available only to fans in the UK.

Earlier on May 22, the National Men’s Selection Committee announced a 16-member squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia, scheduled to be played from May 30 to June 4 in Rawalpindi and Lahore.

Left-arm fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi will continue to lead the side, while Salman Ali Agha has been named vice-captain. Three players, Ahmed Daniyal, Arafat Minhas, and Rohail Nazir, have earned their debut call.

Meanwhile, Babar Azam, Naseem Shah, Shadab Khan, and Sufyan Moqim return to the Pakistan ODI squad after missing the away series against Bangladesh earlier this year.

For the wicketkeeping role, Muhammad Ghazi Ghori and Rohail Nazir have been selected after Usman Khan was ruled out due to illness.

The selection committee also confirmed that Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub were not considered, as both continue rehabilitation under the PCB medical panel following injuries.
