ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has announced that continental airstreams are dominating the weather across the country.
Meanwhile, weak moist currents are heading towards the upper regions of the country, and a weak trough of westerly winds is passing through the northern parts of the country.
The PMD predicts that the weather will be hot and partly cloudy in Islamabad and associated areas, with a chance of rain and thunderstorms to the extent of about 45% during evening/night.
In Punjab, hot and humid weather is expected in most of the districts, but there will be partly cloudy weather with rain/thundershowers in certain areas of Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Jehlum, Narowal, Sialkot, and Gujrat in the evening/night.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, hot and humid weather is likely to prevail in most of the districts. However, a chance of isolated rain/wind/thundershowers is expected in Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Battagram, Nowshera, Peshawar, Swabi, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur, Malakand, Peshawar, Kohat, and Parachinar.
In Sindh and Balochistan, the weather will be hot and humid in most of the districts, with relatively better weather in the coastal areas.
Kashmir has been forecast to have partly cloudy weather with the possibility of rain and thundershowers, while Gilgit
