ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Severe earthquake tremors have been felt in various parts of the country, including the federal capital Islamabad.
The tremors of the earthquake were also felt in various cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
After the earthquake, people came out of their homes and offices and kept reciting the Kalima Tayyaba.
In addition, earthquake tremors were felt in Shangla, Buner, Mardan, Charsadda, Swat, Swabi, Kohat, Karak, Malakand, Bajaur, Hangu, Lower Dir, South Waziristan Lower and surrounding areas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In Azad Kashmir, tremors were also felt in Neelum Valley and Muzaffarabad and surrounding areas. Severe earthquake tremors were felt in Diamer city and its surroundings in Gilgit-Baltistan.
According to the Seismological Center, the magnitude of the earthquake was 5.9 and the depth of the earthquake was recorded at 178 kilometers.
It should be noted that earthquake tremors were also felt in Balochistan yesterday, after which Deputy Commissioner Musakhel said that the earthquake damaged more than 90 houses in the Chap area of Rada Sham, and more than 20 people were injured when walls collapsed.
