PESHAWAR (Kashmir English): Security forces killed seven terrorists during operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, while also recovering a large quantity of weapons and ammunition.
According to security sources, an intelligence-based operation was conducted in the Bara area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’ vision, resulting in the deaths of five terrorists belonging to ‘Fitna-ul-Khawarij’; the terrorists’ hideouts were destroyed during the operation, and a significant cache of arms and ammunition was seized from the slain terrorists.
Meanwhile, security forces conducted an operation under ‘Radd-ul-Fasaad-3’ in the Nokcha area of Balochistan’s Chagai district; sources reported that terrorists affiliated with ‘Fitna-ul-Hindostan’ attempted to flee after setting fire to an empty water bowser in Nokcha, but security forces took immediate action and killed two of them.
Sources indicated that the slain terrorists were also involved in arson and subversive activities at various locations along the N-40 Highway; security sources noted that eleven terrorists from ‘Fitna-ul-Hindostan’, involved in similar subversive acts, had also been killed on August 31.
Security forces stated that operations would continue until terrorism is completely eradicated from the country and lasting peace is established, affirming their resolve to eliminate the scourge of terrorism and ensure enduring peace.
