PANJGUR (Kashmir English): Security forces have killed 12 Indian-sponsored terrorists in an intelligence-based counter-terrorism operation in Aphan, Parome area of Balochistan’s Panjgur district, security sources said on Saturday.
The operation was conducted in the general area Aphan e Koh following intelligence regarding the presence of militants affiliated with Fitna Al Hindustan, the sources said.
According to the sources, security personnel carried out a timely and targeted operation against the militants, resulting in the deaths of 12 alleged BLA militants.
A quantity of weapons and equipment was recovered from the possession of the militants, including M-4 rifles, machine guns, hand grenades and communication equipment, the sources said.
Search and clearance operations are underway for the fugitive terrorists in the area, sources said. “Every terrorist who destroys the peace of Balochistan and Pakistan will be brought to its logical end,” security sources added.
