South African batters pile up runs, new records set at Under-19 World Cup

WINDHOEK, Namibia (Kashmir English): South African batters amassed runs against Tanzania in the ICC Under-19 World Cup and set new records.

On Monday, in the ICC Men’s Under-19 Cricket World Cup, South Africa displayed brilliant batting against Tanzania, setting a massive total of 397 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 50 overs. This is the highest score of the current tournament.

The score is the highest ever in the history of the South African team’s Under-19 World Cup.

In this brilliant performance, captain Muhammad Bulbulia scored 108 runs, while Jason Rolls played an unbeaten innings of 125 runs.

South Africa pile up 398 runs

In response to the target of 398 runs, the Tanzania Under-19 team was bowled out for just 68 runs, and thus the South African Under-19 team won the match by a large margin of 329 runs.

It is worth noting that this is the second-largest victory in terms of runs in the history of Under-19 One Day Cricket, and South Africa’s largest.

It is to be remembered that the Under-19 World Cup is being played in Zimbabwe and the final will be on February 8. Sixteen teams, including Pakistan, are participating in the World Cup.
