GAZA (Kashmir English): Saad Edhi, son of renowned philanthropist Faisal Edhi, has been taken into custody by Israeli forces during a humanitarian mission bound for Gaza.

According to the details, Saad Edhi is part of the “Global Resistance Flotilla” international aid mission, which is trying to deliver humanitarian aid to the besieged Muslims of Gaza.

According to the report, this aid mission departed from Marmaris, Turkey on May 14, 2026, and includes more than 500 aid workers from all over the world, including Saad Edhi.

Moments before being detained by the Israeli army, Saad Edhi had also released an emergency video statement. The video clearly shows the Israeli army attacking and taking action against the aid mission.

This peaceful effort by the Edhi Foundation and international volunteers to deliver aid to the Palestinians has been forcibly stopped by Israeli forces and the aid workers have been taken prisoner.
