ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government on Tuesday hiked the petrol price and reduced the diesel price for October 7.
According to the notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol was increased by Rs1.19 per liter and high-speed diesel (HSD) was reduced by Rs1.91 per liter.
“The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the ex-depot prices of the petroleum products for October 7, 2026,” the notification stated.
With the latest revision, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 394.83 per liter and diesel at Rs 395.85 per liter.
On October 5, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) hiked the petrol price to Rs 393.64 per liter and reduced the diesel price to Rs 397.76 per liter.
The revised prices are in line with the government’s ongoing policy of issuing fuel prices on a daily basis from Monday to Friday based on international oil markets.
