MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Azad Jammu and Kashmir has dismissed reports circulating on social media regarding the issuance of party tickets for the upcoming general election in the region.
In a statement, the PML-N AJK spokesperson said that tickets for any constituency have not been issued so far.
He urged party workers and supporters not to rely on unofficial reports and clarified that the process of awarding tickets for constituencies remains incomplete.
Earlier, several local media outlets reported that President PML-N Nawaz Sharif has approved the distribution of party tickets for the AJK elections.
The report alleged that Nawaz Sharif distributed the tickets in every constituency of the state, except Dadyal, Lachhrat, Muzaffarabad, and Kotli City.
It was falsely reported that the party tickets have been issued to Shah Ghulam Qadir, Raja Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas, Chaudhry Tariq Farooq, Raja Farooq Haider Khan, Engineer Mohsin Aziz Haveli, Sardar Mir Akbar Khan, Bagh, Sardar Umair Naeem, Raja Ayaz Ahmed, Raja Riyats Khan, Raja Asif, and many others.
