ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Friday issued a notice to the residence of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman over building regulation violations.
The 15-day notice was sent to Amanullah, the owner of the property, located in Sector G-6/4 of Islamabad.
The notice states that certain structures at the property have been built in violation of the Islamabad Capital Territory Building Control Regulations 2020, amended in 2023.
As per the civic authority, violations include illegal and unauthorised construction in setbacks, guard posts, and a generator installed on CDA land.
The authority also referred to an affidavit submitted by the property owner on March 18, 2019, in which he had undertaken to remove violations in the setback areas within three months.
However, the CDA said the required compliance had not been made.
The notice directs the owner to remove the identified violations within 15 days, warning that failure to comply could result in legal action, including demolition of the structures.
