PESHAWAR (Kashmir English): Pakistani athlete Masood Khan has set a new world record by completing the longest non-stop 800 km-run from Peshawar to Skardu.

He has made Pakistan proud worldwide by traversing the extremely challenging routes of the Karakoram Highway.

According to details, Pakistani athlete Masood Khan set this world record by running 800 km non-stop from Peshawar to Skardu.

During this long and arduous journey, he successfully crossed the extremely difficult mountainous paths of the Karakoram Highway and the towering valleys of Gilgit-Baltistan, which is a testament to his extraordinary physical and mental capabilities.

Speaking to the media, Masood Khan stated that this longest run from Peshawar to Skardu is a unique and first-of-its-kind historic achievement.

He revealed that he actually completed this 810 km world record in a short period of just 9 days. Masood Khan further said that successfully achieving this most difficult target of 800 km is a moment of pride for him and the entire country, and he is happy that he succeeded in making Pakistan’s name shine worldwide.
