MIRPUR (Kashmir English): Khawaja Tahir Ayub Lone, candidate for the LA-3 Mirpur constituency in the Azad Jammu and Kashmir election, has clarified his position on his election campaign.
In a video message, Khawaja Tahir Ayub Lone has said that he will not conduct his campaign under the platform of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), a party proscribed by the federal government under anti-terror laws.
Lone said that since TLP is not a registered political party in AJK, he would not launch or continue his election campaign in its name.
He further said he is a patriotic Kashmiri and Pakistani who believes in complete adherence to the law and constitution, and will continue his political activities in accordance with all legal requirements.
