WASHINGTON (Kashmir English): US President Donald Trump has once again taken a tough stance Iran stance, stating that there is a possibility of renewed attacks on Iran.
Speaking to the media, President Trump said that Iran has not yet fully paid the “big price” for the actions it has taken in recent days.
He stated that the potential for negotiations between the US and Iran is “unlimited,” but added, in the current situation, the prospects for concrete progress are not clear.
Trump viewed the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz as “friendly”.
He said that he has been informed of a new proposal regarding Iran, but its main points and details will be presented to him soon.
He said that he would review the matter soon but was not sure if Iran’s proposals would be acceptable.
The US President once again increased pressure on Iran, stating that if the situation remains the same, the possibility of further military actions cannot be ruled out.
Trump on Germany withdrawal
Trump also revealed that the US was withdrawing more than 5,000 US military personnel from Germany.
However, the reasons for this decision were not detailed. Previously, President Trump had expressed dissatisfaction with the current situation in Iran, describing the Iranian leadership as “confused”.
He stated that there is a lack of clear leadership and unity there, and different leaders adopt different stances.
Trump once again emphasized that the US does not want Iran to have nuclear weapons, and this is the fundamental direction of his policy.
