ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a decrease in the prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for domestic use.

The new prices will take effect from June 1, 2025. According to a notification issued by OGRA, an 11.8 kg domestic LPG cylinder decreased by Rs. 10.54.60, bringing the new price to Rs. 2,838.31. Also, the per kg price of LPG decreased by Rs. 4.63 (to Rs. 240.53 per kg).

Many experts and theorists believe this price change has come about due to changes in the international LPG price and local supply and demand.

While many households are still struggling to afford the rising costs of inflation, the price adjustment is hopefully a minor relief to the residents ahead of Eid-ul-Adha 2025.
