JHELUM VALLEY (Kashmir English): In a recent development, the Commissioner of Muzaffarabad Division Chaudhry Guftar Hussain, visited Jhelum Valley Chinari Chakothi to inspect the encroachments from Hattian Bala to Chakothi.
On-the-ground details relating to the ongoing Encroachment eradication operation were narrated by the Deputy Commissioner, Jhelum Valley, Ms. Benish Jaral.
Assistant Superintendent of Police, Jhelum Valley, Mirza Zahid Hussain, was also there on this occasion. The Deputy Commissioner, Jhelum Valley, Ms. Benish Jaral, and SP Mirza Zahid Hussain detailed how the district administration works day and night for public facilities.
Encroachments and traffic problems are being resolved, and obstacles in traffic flow and a lack of parking are also being addressed, the deputy commissioner added.
The Commissioner of Muzaffarabad Division, Chaudhry Guftar Hussainpraised the performance of the district administration and police.
He mentioned that the performance of the district administration and police in the Jhelum Valley district is satisfactory. He instructed further the removal of encroachments without any delay, making arrangements for effective parking in the markets, improving the sanitation system, and addressing other public issues on an immediate basis.
He further stressed that the municipal committee and the traffic police need to implement strategies jointly to ensure effective public facilities and restore order in the markets.
Later, the public expressed their appreciation for this step taken by the district administration and hoped that with the removal of encroachments and free traffic flow in the city, shopping in the markets and carrying out other daily chores would become easier for the people.
