ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar on Tuesday said that 527 Afghan Taliban personnel were killed and more than 755 others were injured so far in the ongoing Operation Ghazab Lil-Haq.
Sharing an update regarding the Afghan Taliban losses on X, the minister added that the armed forces had destroyed 237 border posts and captured 38 others.
Meanwhile, he said that 205 enemy tanks, armoured vehicles, and artillery guns have been destroyed, while 62 locations across Afghanistan were effectively targeted through air strikes.

Afghan commander Nusratullah neutralised
A key commander of Tehreek-e-Taliban Afghanistan (TTA), Nusratullah alias Kochi, was killed in an exchange of heavy fire and artillery in the Kharlachi area of Afghanistan, located on the Pak-Afghan border.
Security sources said that Pakistani artillery and firing killed the commander. Nusratullah was the Uluswal (commander) of the Afghan Taliban and was targeted in an operation by Pakistani forces.
Famous TTA commander killed
Pakistan Army artillery achieved major success in the Landi Kotal sector as the famous TTA Commander Qahraman of Jalalabad was killed along with his companions.
According to the security sources, a group led by Commander Qahraman was trying to approach the Torkham border last night.
“The artillery, acting on solid intelligence information, targeted the group, killing Qahraman along with his companions,” the sources said.
The said Commander Qahraman belonged to Afghan Torkham, near Jalalabad.
67 Afghan Taliban killed in Balochistan, KP
Security forces have successfully repelled a series of coordinated attacks that targeted different sites across northern Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Information Minister Atta Tarar said that one soldier of FC Balochistan North was martyred and at least 67 Afghan Taliban were killed.
The Afghan Taliban militants from Balochistan executed physical attacks on 16 sites throughout the northern districts, which included Qilla Saifullah, Noshki, and Chaman.

PAF attacks Bagram Airbase
Pakistan AirForce (PAF) has attacked Bagram Airbase in Afghanistan. The Afghan Taliban has said that the PAF attack on Bagram Air Base damaged aircraft, helicopters, and key military equipment.
It emerged in the damage report issued by the Afghan Taliban Ministry of Defence.
According to the report, Black Hawk helicopters, Hercules cargo aircraft, Tucano aircraft, armored vehicles, and other important military equipment were destroyed in the attack.

’10 airstrikes were conducted inside Afghanistan’
Pakistan armed forces conducted punishment fire plan on multiple Forward Afghan Taliban posts in selected sectors all along the Pak-Afghan border on March 2, 2026, as part of a retaliation to hostilities initiated by Afghanistan on Feb 26.
According to the security sources, ten airstrikes were undertaken in various depth locations for Terrorist hunting and the degradation of military infrastructure.

Armed forces launch major attack
Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and the armed forces have launched a major attack on all border sectors of Afghanistan as Pakistan’s strong response continues against the unprovoked aggression of the Afghan Taliban regime.
Earlier in the day, the Pakistan Army blew up an Afghan Taliban post in the border area with explosives.
The Afghan Taliban regime is facing continuous retreat at the hands of the Pakistan Army on every front, according to security sources.

Pakistan forces secure 32 sq km in Afghanistan
In the Zhob sector, Pakistan Security Forces have taken control of approximately 32 square kilometers of territory across the border, named Ghudwana Enclave, in the ongoing Op Ghazab Lil-Haq.
According to security sources, the retaliatory action was carried out after repeated cross-border provocations targeting Pakistani posts. Officials stated that the response was “resolute and proportionate to the threat,” aimed at safeguarding territorial integrity and ensuring the security of border communities.
Two posts captured in Shakhsiyat sector
Pakistan Army has captured two check posts of the Afghan Taliban regime in Shakhsiyat sector and hoisted the Pakistani flag. The Afghan Taliban abandoned their posts and fled.
According to the security sources, during the operation, 4 to 5 Afghan troops were killed, and 3 to 4 were injured.
Sources said that the operation was initiated by softening up the target. During this process, Afghan armed personnel were observed running backward into thick vegetation, and the same were engaged with all available weapons and mortars.

Airstrikes in Nangarhar, Kandahar
Pakistan armed forces’ vigorous and powerful counter-attacks against Afghan Taliban aggression are underway, security sources said.
As per sources, Pakistan Air Force (PAF) effectively targeted and destroyed the Afghan Army headquarters during an airstrike in Kandahar.
“Pakistan’s armed forces are standing firm to protect the country’s borders,” security sources stated.
In addition to that, Pakistan Air Force (PAF) successfully targeted two targets in Mohmand Dhara base in Nangarhar province of Afghanistan.

Security sources further confirmed that PAF also effectively targeted and destroyed the brigade headquarters of the Afghan army in Nangarhar province.

Khaliwall post captured
As the Operation Ghaza Lil-Haq continues, the Pakistan Army has taken complete control of the Afghan Taliban’s Khaliwall post.
The Afghan Taliban have left the post and fled after an intense and precise engagement by Pakistan forces, security sources said. A large quantity of weapons, including Improvised IED and vehicles, has also been recovered.
Others include one Hilux cabin vehicle, one Bike, electric appliances and utensils, a Motorola HH Wireless Communication Set, and Afghan personnel ID cards, bedding, and uniforms.
