ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Paying tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah for his monumental struggle, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi stated that the Quaid gifted the nation an ideology, political consciousness, and a sovereign state.
Naqvi remarked that Quaid-e-Azam’s struggle for independence forms a shining chapter in our national history; he led the Muslims of the subcontinent out of servitude to the destination of a sovereign homeland.
It was through Quaid-e-Azam’s unparalleled leadership that Pakistan emerged as an independent state on the world map. According to the Interior Minister, Quaid-e-Azam possessed a rare combination of high moral character, truthfulness in speech, and steadfastness in action—qualities seldom seen in history; despite illness and physical frailty, his courage and resolve guided the nation to its goal.
Naqvi noted that Quaid-e-Azam was a staunch champion of minority rights and viewed the state as a trust belonging to the people. Faith, Unity, and Discipline—these constitute Jinnah’s true legacy and the very soul of Pakistan.
He emphasized that Pakistan’s progress and prosperity lie in adhering to Quaid-e-Azam’s principles. Separately, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi commended the security forces for their professional excellence and successful intelligence-based operation against terrorists of the Fitna-al-Khawarij in Kurram.
He stated that the security forces’ operations to establish peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are praiseworthy; the brave soldiers of the security forces are a source of national pride, and the nation stands united with them in the war against terrorism.
