Main Story of ‘Missing Darling’
The story of broken trust, buried secrets, and unanswered questions begins when an influential TikToker known as “Darling” disappears, a well-kept TikTok account that’s being run by a woman whose name is Naina. But what begins as an innocent missing person’s case soon transforms into a terrifying investigation of the darkest nature possible.
Things turn even grimmer when a dead body is found, and the trail leads to another young woman who vanishes without a trace. With distrust swirling around everyone and a refusal to speak the whole truth, the storyline twists and turns around its characters at breakneck speed.

By unearthing elements that are often ignored, Missing Darling makes its unique claim to the space of investigative thrillers with its real-time approach. By shining light on sensitive yet often hush-hush topics, like a woman living and thriving alone, defying all odds in a career dominated by men, the drama manages to touch upon raw emotions with unbridled honesty and a keen understanding of human nature.
With an unabashed preference for dark and twisted plots, Missing Darling is the sort of drama that sticks to the viewers’ minds long after each episode.
Pakistani actor, Yasir Hussain feels viewers are already ready for something other than conventional tele drama, but one which could even go deep into crime, thriller, or psychological genre.
The Express Entertainment’s forthcoming serial Missing Darling Hussain, while sharing it with Express Tribune, said that crime-based shows with strong investigation elements and elements like those found in the story are on the rise.” They want to watch the crime scene.
And the way we portrayed it in Missing Darling. We researched it quite intensely to portray it realistically,” Hussain said.
He maintained they made considerable effort to make it a police based thrilling series rather than a show centred on typical family relationships, which is predominant these days in Pakistani tele dramas.
