KARACHI (Kashmir English): Great Wall Motors (GWM), in collaboration with Sazgar Group, has unveiled the ORA 5, an electric compact SUV in Pakistan.
This ORA 5 marks the third release of GWM’s ORA line-up in the Pakistani market and stands between ORA 3 and the high-end ORA 7.
Equipped with a 58.3kWh battery (lithium iron phosphate), this electric SUV promises a range of up to 435 kilometres per charge according to the WLTP test.
This electric SUV is fitted with a single electric engine mounted in the front part of the vehicle and has a power output of 201 horsepower, with 260Nm torque, and takes 8 seconds for 0 to 100 km/h acceleration.
GWM has set the base price of this electric SUV at Rs8.599 million, and bookings have started with a booking charge of Rs1.7 million.
There are several competing models like BYD Atto 3 and Jaecoo J6 in Pakistan’s developing electric vehicle market, all of which cost roughly the same amount.
