MIRPUR (Kashmir English): The Parliamentary Committee in the National Assembly on Kashmir will meet here today (April 21) to discuss and review the current situation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Unveiling the details, a spokesperson of the Mirpur District Administration said that all the arrangements for the Kashmir Committee meeting to be held under the chairmanship of Chairman Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Rana Qasim Noon have been finalized.
He said the meeting will be held as per the schedule. The spokesperson continued that in this regard, Commissioner Mirpur Division Chaudhry Mukhtar Hussain was personally supervising the arrangements.
The scheduled meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir is stated to highlight the strategy for the early success of the Kashmir freedom movement, solutions to the important problems being faced by the Kashmiri people.

He said organizing the meeting on the soil of Jammu and Kashmir is being viewed and lauded by the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The official spokesperson of the district administration categorically denied as baseless news on social media allegedly by handpicked disgruntled elements, which, the spokesperson said, is part of their efforts to create a rift between eternal relations between authorities in Azad Jammu Kashmir and Pakistan.
