KERALA, India (Kashmir English): Locals assaulted an Indian Army officer in Kerala for allegedly harassing an underage girl.
A video went viral soon after the incident, featuring the army officer being thrashed by some locals inside a building.
Lieutenant Colonel Karnail Singh was seen arguing with a group of locals on the veracity of the incident as the latter thrash him.
Police rescue Indian Army officer
A police officer, however, arrived the scene to rescue the army officer. Instead of protecting minor girl, the police started supporting the accused Lieutenant Colonel.
According to media reports, the Indian Army officer was allegedly caught harassing an underage girl, after which angry locals brutally thrashed him.
