QUETTA (Kashmir English): The Balochistan government has decided to grant monthly stipends to female students to boost girls’ education throughout the province
. Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti led the meeting, which resulted in this decision during a high-level budget preparation session. The stipend program will give students financial assistance while helping families maintain their daughters’ education. The project seeks to increase female student enrollment while decreasing school dropouts in remote community sections.
Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan briefed officials on the proposal, highlighting its potential impact on educational equality. Experts said providing incentives to female students could transform the social and economic landscape by empowering women.
The initiative is part of a broader educational reform agenda that prioritizes two goals of inclusive education and high-quality educational programs and contemporary educational facilities.
