DUMBULLA (Kashmir English): The Host Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan by 14 runs in the third match (Pak vs SL) of the T20I series.
The match was reduced to 12 overs due to rain.
Batting first, Sri Lanka scored 160 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 12 overs. In reply, Pakistan’s team could score 146 runs.
Captain Shanaka scored 34, Kamil Mishra scored 20, de Silva scored 22, Kusal Mendis scored 30, and Asalanka scored 21 runs.
Mohammad Wasim took 3 wickets while Naseem Shah and Mohammad Nawaz took one wicket each.
Pakistan’s captain, Salman Agha, played an aggressive innings and scored 45 off 12 balls, while Mohammad Nawaz scored 28, and Khawaja Nafee scored 26 runs. Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Harasanga sent 4 players to the pavilion.
