JAMMU (Kashmir English): A protest demonstration was staged in Jammu, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) to push for the restoration of Article 370 and statehood to the territory.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the protest was carried out by activists of Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir.
Delay in reinstatement of Article 370
Addressing on the occasion, MSJK president Sunil Dimple warned of strong agitation against the delay in the reinstatement of Article 370 and full statehood for the territory.
Dimple criticized the BJP and other political parties for failing to advocate for Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood.
Prominent participants in the protest included Vijay Virdi, Ricky Bhasin, Deepak, Mohammad Hassan, Ali Hasan Karblai, Swarn Lal, and others. The activists vowed to continue their campaign until their demands were met.
