CALIFORNIA: In a technological development, one of the most popular and used social media platforms YouTube is going to expand its community features to strengthen creator-fan relationships on its platform.

Dedicated social space from last fall for creators to text post with pictures, just as on other forms of social networking, and this enables users in discussions without necessarily leaving the system.

It aims at making both creators and their subscribers experience an integrative life inside its ecosystem, as these are the interactions being kept within YouTube.

The feature of Communities still is exclusive from mobile phones only and is yet to be experimented with; they have granted invitation-only access to some select creators.

Creators will be notified directly via email and with a banner on their channel page in the YouTube app once they receive an invitation to join the Communities feature.

Once accepted, they can activate the feature by clicking on the “Go to Community” prompt, which will guide them through the setup process. As part of the Communities feature, creators will have access to a moderation system through the YouTube Studio app’s Community Hub, where they can oversee channel activity and receive AI-powered suggestions for fan interactions.

This will enable them to better manage their community and engage with their audience in a more meaningful way.

It also renamed the Community tab to Posts, allowing YouTube to more clearly separate engagement features on its platform. It hasn’t started the rollout process widely yet and isn’t making a statement regarding when it might become available for everyone

However, the feature is expected to be rolled out more broadly after testing and tweaking it if needed. This is part of the effort by YouTube to make Communities available to a broader audience so that creators will not rely as much on other platforms like Discord to interact with their audiences and thus provide a seamless experience for creators and their followers.
