MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Jammu and Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) has given a three-day deadline to the Muzaffarabad district administration to rectify the issues related to load shedding; otherwise, they will organize a siege of the Muzaffarabad grid station.

A delegation of the Awami Action Committee, led by Core Committee member Shaukat Nawaz Mir, met with the Commissioner Muzaffarabad and the district administration to discuss pressing issues related to load shedding and forced load shedding in the region.

The committee emphasized the need for practical steps to end load shedding, which has been a persistent problem in the region.

Giving a deadline, the JAAC representatives stated that if meaningful progress is not made, the committee will organize a siege of the Muzaffarabad grid station on June 23, 2025.

The meeting between the Awami Action Committee and the Muzaffarabad Division is scheduled for June 23 to discuss further action.
