SEHNSA (Kashmir English): The Pakistan Zindabad Jalsa, a celebratory public gathering, was held in Sehnsa’s Union Council Naawan Palthiyan (ناون پلتھیاں) to honour the Pakistan Armed Forces’ victory over India. President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry attended as chief guest, where officials pledged developmental projects, including roads, schools, and power infrastructure, for the region’s progress.
The Pakistan Zindabad Jalsa was presided over by Minister for Revenue Ch Muhammad Akhlaq, while District Council Chairman Abdul Ghafoor Javed Advocate served as the host.
The gathering witnessed speeches from several ministers, advisors, and public representatives praising the bravery and achievements of the Pakistan Armed Forces in defeating Indian aggression.
Speaking at the event, Ch Muhammad Akhlaq stated, “The Pakistan Armed Forces have defeated India, and it will continue to lick the wounds of this loss.” He added that only Pakistan’s military is capable of defending the nation from Indian hostility.
He also highlighted the ongoing development projects worth billions in Sehnsa at the Pakistan Zindabad Jalsa, ensuring the audience that public needs like transformers and electric poles would be provided.
Minister for Tourism Sardar Faheem Akhtar Rabbani commended President Barrister Sultan Mahmood for raising the Kashmir issue globally.
He said, “We must stand united with Pakistan and the military, or face a situation like Gaza.” Rabbani also credited the current government with fair recruitment of teachers and improvements in infrastructure while talking at the Pakistan Zindabad Jalsa.
Minister for Physical Planning Yasar Sultan Ch reassured the people of Sehnsa that all local issues would be resolved and stressed that “the whole nation stands with the Pakistan Armed Forces.”
Minister for Population Welfare Sardar Muhammad Hussain lauded former leader Ch Noor Hussain said Barrister Sultan had carried forward his mission. He added that even US President Trump’s statement after the recent conflict had boosted the morale of Kashmir’s leadership.
Minister for Planning and Development Ch Muhammad Rasheed saluted the Pakistan Armed Forces Victory and highlighted that the military’s direct strikes inside India had shattered the enemy’s pride. He reaffirmed that national stability and the completion of Pakistan were their key missions.
The President’s Advisor Ch Muhammad Mehmood declared that the gathering had been convened on the President’s orders and honoured Barrister Sultan for dedicating his life to the Kashmir freedom movement.
Local demands were raised by Chairman Abdul Ghafoor Javed, including 24 electric poles, a girls’ high school in Naawan and Treedi Taar, and an eight-kilometre road for Naawan Sharif. Minister Akhlaq confirmed these projects were in the pipeline and would be completed.
Other speakers, including legal and political figures, praised both the President and Minister Akhlaq for their development work and their role in highlighting the Kashmir issue.
The Pakistan Zindabad Jalsa concluded with renewed public support for the Pakistan Armed Forces Victory and national unity.
