MIRANSHAH (Kashmir English): At least 45 Fitna Al Khawarij (FAK) terrorists were killed in June 2 operation in North Waziristan, according to an update on the operation.
The security sources said that Fitna Al Khawarij had a strong base in Palangzai area of Miranshah, North Waziristan Agency.
The area was used as base for operations for various terrorist activities. On 2 June an effective operation was launched against these terrorists.
Update on North Waziristan operation
The sources said till to date 45 FAK terrorists have been killed including a high-value target, Khalid Raza Sala, area commander of Kharji Gul Bahadur Group Palangzai.
Khariji Khalid had a head money of Rs 4 million. As many as 25 dead bodies have been recovered along with huge cache of weapon and ammunition.
Three strong holds of Khawarij including Samiullah complex, Abuzar Complex and Imdad Complex have been completely destroyed.
The operation has proved to be a major blow to Kharji Gul Bahadur’s FAK chapter in North Waziristan Agency.
