ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Meteorological Department has forecast the weather for various regions of the country, stating that dry and hot conditions are likely to prevail in most areas, while the sky may remain partly cloudy in some upper regions.
According to the department, the weather will remain dry across most of the country on Wednesday; however, hot conditions are expected to persist during the day in the plains.
Dry weather is forecast for Islamabad and its surrounding areas, as well as for most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, although the sky is expected to remain partly cloudy in the upper districts.
Dry weather is anticipated in most parts of Punjab, though hot conditions are likely during the day in the plains. Most districts of Sindh and Balochistan will also experience dry weather, with heat felt during the daytime.
The Meteorological Department indicates that the sky is likely to remain partly cloudy in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan; light rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms is possible in a few places in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Reporting on the weather conditions over the past 24 hours, the department stated that the weather remained dry across most of the country, while the plains experienced heat during the day.
Notably, a maximum temperature of 38°C was recorded in Sibi yesterday, while temperatures in Padidan and Rohri reached 37°C.
In view of the weather conditions, citizens have been advised to take precautionary measures to protect themselves from the heat during the day.
