KARACHI (Kashmir English): An important announcement has been issued for eligible women under the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP); those who have not yet obtained the free Benazir SIM are instructed to do so before September 30, 2026.
According to a BISP spokesperson, beneficiary women who have not yet acquired the Benazir SIM should visit their nearest BISP office with their original identity card and mobile phone to obtain the free SIM.
The spokesperson clarified that women who do not obtain the Benazir SIM may face difficulties in receiving their stipend payments.
BISP Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid stated that the activation of the Benazir SIM will be carried out by a representative of the relevant mobile company at the BISP office.
She advised women to ask BISP staff to insert the SIM into their mobile phones and activate it at the time of collection, ensuring that the process of obtaining and activating the SIM is completed correctly.
BISP officials have urged beneficiary women to obtain the free Benazir SIM from their nearest office as soon as possible, without waiting for the deadline.
