RAWALAKOT (Kashmir English): The University of Poonch Rawalakot (UPR) has been included in the CPEC Consortium of Universities, as announced at the 5th Exchange Mechanism Conference held at Shenzhen University, China.
Director of Student Affairs at UPR, Raja Basharat Mahmood, represented the university at the conference, where the Ministry of Higher Education, China, revealed the latest list of participating institutions.
During the conference, Raja Basharat had the chance to engage with academic leaders from prominent Chinese universities, including Fudan University and Henan Normal University.
These discussions led to agreements for future collaborations and student exchange programs, providing new academic and research opportunities for both institutions.
This development positions UPR to strengthen its international connections and create new avenues for academic growth and cultural exchange for its students and faculty.
