NEELUM VALLEY (Kashmir English): District Magistrate Neelam Chaudhry Iqbal Hassan has imposed Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code in the examination centers established in Neelam district in view of the BS and AD.LLB examinations of different semesters to be held under the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Muzaffarabad.

The purpose of this formal order issued by the District Magistrate is to completely maintain law and order in the examination centers during the examinations and to protect the examination process from any kind of external interference.

Restrictions on entry to examination centers

The order issued by District Magistrate Neelam Iqbal Hassan has clarified that the examinations of the second, fourth, sixth and eighth semesters (Fall 2025) of BS/AD.LLB under the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Muzaffarabad are starting from September 8, 2026.

No unauthorized person or persons will be allowed to enter the examination centers during the examinations, nor will anyone be able to assist or encourage anyone to enter the examination center.

The order warns that strict legal action will be taken against any person or persons violating Section 144 under Section 188 of the Independent Penal Code (IPC).

Administrative Instructions

The District Magistrate Neelum has directed the police and the relevant administrative agencies to ensure strict implementation of this order so that peaceful, transparent, and uninterrupted examinations can be held in all examination centers.
