MIRPUR (Kashmir English): Pakistan Muslim League Noon (PML-N) Azad Kashmir Central General Secretary and former Senior Minister Chaudhry Tariq Farooq criticized the Azad Kashmir government, stating that what is happening in Azad Kashmir seems to be part of a special plan.
During a meeting at the press club Mirpur, the party leader stated that Political parties have become weak, and political leadership has become ineffective. There was a time when there was talk of military democracy. The current situation seems to be even worse.
Just look at the approval of the budget. The budget was passed without discussion, going against the rules and regulations. The government, claiming good governance, is running away from the accountability process. The entire system has been taken hostage, the party leader added.
Former Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan and party president Shah Ghulam Qadir should not have attended the budget session. The party president should take action against other PML-N members of the assembly.
This has never happened in the past. The entire assembly seems powerless. Everyone is a picture of helplessness. Whatever happened in the budget session, I am ashamed.
Chaudhry Tariq Farooq expressed these views while speaking at the Kashmir Press Club, Mirpur. Former Director General of the Development Authority, Chaudhry Ijaz, was also with him.
He said that the helplessness of the members of the assembly is such that they cannot speak of their own free will or come out of their own free will; the entire system has been destroyed and ruined.
Chaudhry Tariq Farooq said that someone approves funds, someone else distributes them, and someone else takes credit. Regrettably, this is happening just for the sake of a few schemes.
Institutions, systems, and setups should not be tampered with. If it continues like this, everyone will have to suffer the consequences. Azad Kashmir is a disputed region, and the system should be run with great care and wisdom here.
But it seems as if everyone is sleeping soundly, or they have been given a talisman; no one is speaking. The absence of appointments to constitutional posts like the Chief Election Commissioner and Chairman Public Service Commission is a separate question mark. The current budget is fake. All its figures and figures have been compiled by finance people.
This budget of the Anwarul Haq government, like its previous budget, is also a mere manipulation of words and is just to please MLAs. The rest of the people should go to hell. The life of the parrot (Anwarul Haq) 5 is in the hands of MLAs.
But now the elections are over. Everyone will have to appear in the court of the people, and the people will make the best decision. Chaudhry Tariq Farooq said that there is anger in the hearts of the people against the behavior of political parties, and what is said that they will take 20 seats and 25 seats is not the case.
He said that there is no difference in the PML-N Azad Kashmir; however, there is a difference of opinion on some issues. No one should be under any misunderstanding.
PML-N Azad Kashmir will fight the next elections fully united. PML-N Azad Kashmir was on one side of the party, while the parliamentary party was on the other. The parliamentary party will have to bear the consequences of its mistakes.
