MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Information Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Pir Muhammad Mazhar Saeed Shah, has said that the coalition government headed by Chaudhry Anwarul Haq has prepared a balanced, developmental, and welfare budget.
While talking to media representatives at the post-budget conference, he appreciated the government for the recent budget approval.
The Information Minister stated that the budget provides relief, education, health, employment, and development projects have been given priority to the people.
In the budget, along with a subsidy on flour and electricity, free electricity supply to mosques up to two hundred units has been continued.
The people of Azad Kashmir are going to be provided with the facility of health cards, for which the government has allocated two billion rupees in the budget.
The Information Minister said that the current budget has been prepared keeping in mind the public aspirations, needs of the people, and development goals.
He said that the implementation of this budget will usher in a new era of development in Azad Kashmir, and a significant change will take place in the lives of the people.
The Information Minister said that he congratulates the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, the Finance Minister, and their team for presenting an excellent budget. The government is responsibly fulfilling its duties to bring convenience to the lives of the people.
