Shaheen Becomes fastest Pakistani to 150 ODI wickets
Pakistan’s ODI Captain Shaheen Shah Afridi has become the quickest bowler from Pakistan to take 150 wickets in one-day international (ODI) cricket matches.
Shaheen has reached the milestone ahead of former Pakistan fast bowlers Waqar Younis and Shoaib Akhtar, who both took 91 matches to claim 150 ODI wickets.
Former spinner Saqlain Mushtaq achieved the same milestone in just 78 matches, making him the fastest Pakistani bowler overall to reach the mark.
Moreover, Shaheen has performed well at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore by taking 16 wickets in six matches.
With his captaincy, the Pakistan team has won nine out of 13 ODI matches so far, according to team statistics.
This achievement makes yet another milestone in the career of Shaheen Shah Afridi in international cricket.
