KARACHI (Kashmir English): Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves have increased by $1.21 billion, bringing the total to $23.7158 billion.
Official foreign exchange reserves rose by $1.21 billion from foreign commercial loans, reaching $18.23 billion.
Data from the State Bank indicates that as of September 4, 2026, the total value of foreign exchange reserves stood at $23.7158 billion.
The central bank currently holds $18.3282 billion in foreign exchange reserves, while commercial banks hold $5.3876 billion.
The State Bank reported that during the week ending September 4, 2026, foreign exchange reserves increased by $1.21 billion, reaching the level of $18.3282 billion.
It was stated that this rise in State Bank reserves was driven by the receipt of commercial loans by the Government of Pakistan.
