ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government on Wednesday reduced petrol and diesel prices for October 1, a day after a similar decision was taken.
According to the notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol was decreased by Rs 0.14 per liter and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs 1.89 per liter.
“The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the ex-depot prices of the petroleum products for October 1, 2026,” the notification stated.
With the latest revision, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 387.40 per liter and diesel at Rs 400.35 per liter.
On September 29, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) reduced the petrol price to Rs 387.54 per liter and the diesel price to Rs 402.24 per liter.
The revised prices are in line with the government’s ongoing policy of issuing fuel prices on a daily basis from Monday to Friday based on international oil markets.
