ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Islamabad International Airport will experience temporary flight disruptions during the next several days because the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM), which warned about possible flight schedule interruptions.

The aviation authority announced that all runway operations will experience interruptions between May 8 and May 10 which will affect both incoming and outgoing flights.

The PAA requires all airlines flying to Islamabad to carry extra fuel supplies because of possible flight delays. The NOTAM schedule indicates that disruptions will occur on May 8 between 10:45 am and 12:15 pm, while the affected period on May 9 and May 10 will begin at 8:00 pm and end at 9:15 pm.

The authority has not released information about the particular operational aspects that will create the expected flight schedule disruptions.
