ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Islamabad’s skies echoed with the roar of fighter jets on Friday as flypast rehearsals took place over the federal capital ahead of upcoming Marka-e-Haq celebrations.
Earlier, ot was informed that a special flypast exercise will be conducted in the airspace of Islamabad today in connection with the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq.
According to officials, the exercise will involve multiple fighter aircraft performing aerial maneuvers as part of preparations for the national commemoration event.
Authorities have informed citizens that the activity is part of routine rehearsal exercises being carried out ahead of the anniversary observances. Residents may witness the movement of fighter jets in different areas of the federal capital during the scheduled practice sessions.
Officials clarified that there is no cause for concern, as the flypast is a planned and normal exercise linked to preparations for the national occasion.
DG ISPR Presser on Marka-e-Haq Anniversary
The Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has extended deepest congratulations to the nation on the completion of one year of Marka-e-Haq.
DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif is holding an important press conference on the completion of one year of the Marka-e-Haq.
DG ISPR is accompanied by senior officers of the Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force.
DG ISPR said that Pakistan’s forces have defeated a much larger enemy. Every child of India knows what happened in the Marka-e- Haq. Whether India believes it or not is a different matter.
India has made unsuccessful attempts to propagate against Pakistan for decades. Our questions during the Marka-e -Haq are still there today. Even today, the international community, from India to the world community, is asking questions.
DG ISPR said that Pakistan is making the most efforts for peace in the region. At present, only Pakistan is making efforts for peace in the region.
Responsible conduct during Marka-e-Haq
Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry mentioned that the story India has spun against Pakistan on the issue of terrorism has now been completely unveiled, and “Marka-e-Haq” proved to the entire world which nation behaved responsibly in the region.
According to him, the moment the incident occurred in Pahalgam, an FIR was immediately filed, and it was declared that the culprits belonged to a country other than India. Yet to date, there has been no substantial proof put forth.
As per the DG ISPR, if the intelligence of India was indeed good and well-informed, they must have known beforehand about the movement of such individuals over a distance of several kilometers.
Furthermore, the military general said that the upcoming 14th August is going to be special as a grand parade will take place. “We will once again show a small glimpse of our strength to the public in front of them,” DG ISPR said.
