MASTUNG (Kashmir English): Security forces conducted successful operations under Operation Rad-ul-Fitna 3 against hideouts of Fitna al-Hindustan (FAH) and Fitna al-Khawarij (FAK) in Kalat and Mastung during the early hours of Saturday, killing 25 militants and injuring seven others.
The operation was conducted by special units in Marrap, Khaliqabad, Pandaran in Kalat and Khadkucha in Mastung.
During the operation, 19 militants associated with Fitna al-Hindustan were killed while five were injured. Six militants associated with Fitna al-Khawarij were killed along with two others injured.
In Marrap, Khaliqabad, 12 FAH militants were killed while four militants were critically injured. Their hideout was totally demolished in the operation.
In Lehr, Pandaran, five FAK militants were shot dead while two militants were injured.
In Jurr, Pandaran, one FAK militant was killed, while in Khadkucha, Mastung, seven militants were killed while two others were injured. Their hideout was also destroyed in the operation.

Earlier, Security forces carried out a major operation against the outlawed Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) in the Washuk district of Balochistan under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, killing seven militants, including a BLA commander, during an intense exchange of fire.
According to security sources, the operation targeted a BLA hideout in the area after intelligence regarding the presence of militants.
A fierce gun battle ensued, resulting in the killing of seven terrorists, including a senior BLA leader.
The security forces also destroyed the militant hideout and recovered a cache of weapons and ammunition during the operation.
