MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): An operation against illegal encroachments has been launched in the capital, which a large-scale operation was carried out on the Western Bypass last night under the leadership of Assistant Commissioner Rural Muzaffarabad Hammad Bashir.
The operation has led to the closure of illegal sheds, sheds, and carts. Whereas, a strict warning was issued to the shopkeepers that action would be taken against those who keep goods outside their shops in the future.
According to the details, the Muzaffarabad administration took immediate action to eliminate encroachments and conducted an operation last night.
This campaign was led by Assistant Commissioner Rural Hammad Bashir, while SHO Sadar Police Station Syed Wajahat Kazmi, his staff, and Tehsildar Muzaffarabad were also with them.
The team completely removed the illegal encroachments on the Western Bypass from Nalochhi to Sadar Police Station.
Assistant Commissioner Rural Hammad Bashir said that the Western Bypass is an important highway of the city where any kind of encroachment will not be tolerated.
He also clarified that in the future if any shopkeeper keeps goods outside the shop, they will be confiscated. Moreover, he has also appealed to the business community to cooperate with the district administration so that the city roads can be kept free from all kinds of encroachments.
The administration says that this operation will continue and more steps will be taken to free all the important roads of the city from encroachments.
