NEW YORK (Kashmir English): Tom Holland has impressed fans not only with his acting but also with his creative input in the upcoming Hollywood superhero film ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’.
The director of the film, Destin Daniel Cretton, stated that Holland provided an extra line while shooting the emotionally loaded scene in the film.
According to the director, Holland asked him if he can try out an extra line of dialogue while shooting the scene. In the scene, Holland portrays Peter Parker visiting the grave of his aunt, Aunt May.
Holland came up with the dialogue line which says, “I will be happy to know that I have finally made a decision not to do this anymore.” As per Cretton, the dialogue added a lot of emotional quotient to Peter Parker’s character and was essential for his journey through the film.
Cretton stated that Holland told him that while shooting, he should allow him to try something else. Cretton added that eventually, Holland came up with one of the most unforgettable parts of the scene.
Meanwhile, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ have gotten off to a great start at the box office, having already broken the record set by ‘Avengers: Endgame’ during their respective opening weekends.
The movie stars not only Tom Holland but also Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, and Sadie Sink.
